The “Salute to The Class of 2026” is an online promotion on 102.5 FM and 1240 AM KICD, BIG Country 107.7 and MORE 104.9 – hereinafter referred to as the Spencer Media Group stations that will occur from Monday, May 4th at 6am through Thursday, May 28th at 5pm. Listeners have to go online to any of our SMG websites (northwestiowanow.com; bigcountry1077.com or more1049.com) and submit a photo of a graduating senior to be displayed in our “Senior Photo Gallery!” Listeners will be competing with listeners from all Spencer Radio Group Stations for the same prize. On Friday, May 29th a random winner will be chosen from all eligible entries and announced on air at 8:50am to win a $300 gift card. The winner will be notified by phone. No purchase necessary. This prize is not transferrable or redeemable for cash. Winner will be responsible for any taxes and fees that may occur. Only one photo submission per person. Submitting more than one entry per person per day will invalidate all entries by that contestant. Any attempt by any participant to obtain more than the stated number of entries allowed by using same, multiple/different email addresses, identities, or any other methods voids that participant’s entries and that participant may be disqualified. In the event of a dispute as to any on-line registration, the authorized account holder of the e-mail address used to register will be deemed to be the registrant and he/she must be eligible according to these official rules. No mechanically reproduced or automates entries permitted. Use of any automated system to participate is prohibited and will result in disqualification and all such entries will be deemed void.
Images submitted must be owned by the person submitting the entry. No one else may have, or can claim, legal rights to the image. If there is a “minor” (a child or person under the age of 18) in this image, the entrant must certify that he or she is the parent or legal guardian of the minor (child or children) in the image. Any misrepresentation of ownership of the submitted image, or legal guardianship of the minor in the submitted image (if any), will be grounds for disqualification of the contest and potentially all future contests or promotions with Spencer Media Group. Entries containing inappropriate images will be disqualified. Spencer Media Group has final say of what content is appropriate for the website. No indecent or obscene material, no content or material that is illegal, no material containing nudity or is sexually explicit, or by law, obscene profane or pornographic is permitted. By entering this contest, you are verifying that you are the owner and producer of the submitted material and that no third-party ownership rights exist to the image. If the image contains people, by submitting such image you agree to have the rights necessary to consent or submit on behalf of those in the image.
Any photographed submitted to SMG will become property of Spencer Media Group and may be used in any manner it feels appropriate in the future. By entering this contest you are verifying that you are the owner and producer of the submitted material and that no third party ownership rights exist to the photo submitted.
Spencer Media Group contests are open to all eligible listeners in within northwest Iowa and southwest Minnesota 18 or older have not won anything on and SMG station in the past 30 days or any prize valued at $600 or more in the past 6 months. Only one winner per household is permitted within 30 days after a household has a winner. Any prize awarded to an ineligible listener will be deemed null and void, and an alternate eligible winner may be named.
Employees of the Spencer Media Group, and its ultimate parent company, Saga Communications, Inc., their advertising agencies, affiliates, contest sponsors, employees and immediate families of each, and employees of all media of mass communication within a one hundred mile radius of any Spencer Media Group station’s main studio are not eligible to win any contest. Immediate family includes the spouse, great-grandparents, grandparents, parents, brothers, sisters, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren of the employee and his/her spouse. This also includes individuals for whom the employee is current legal guardian.
