Bigham selected for MnDOT District State-Aid Engineer

MN, (KICD) — The Minnesota Department of Transportation has selected a woman to fill the position of assistant district engineer for state aid in MnDOT District 7.

Lisa Bigham will begin her new role on August 14th. Bigham replaces Gordon Regenscheid who retired from the Minnesota DOT in July of 2018.

The management position is responsible for oversight of all local transportation projects using state or federal aid funds. Bigham works with 13 county engineers and nine city engineers including those in Jackson and Nobles counties.

Bigham holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Minnesota. She is a native of Mankato, where she resides with her husband.
