Storm Lake, IA (KICD) — The President of Buena Vista University reports the fourth year in a row of growing enrollment.

Brian Lenzmeier – who was on the faculty for 17 years before becoming President in 2020 – says BVU is putting emphasis on programs and activities that might appeal to local students.

There’s also a college fishing club. Lenzmeier himself is an avid fisherman so hosted a tournament to see if students could catch a larger fish than he could. He tells us it was a tie.
