Spencer, IA (KICD)– Like many other area events, Clay County Relay For Life is making some changes to this year’s celebration .
LaVonne Belle is a volunteer with Relay For Life. She tells KICD News the annual event will still be happening on Saturday, but it is going to look a lot different than in past years.
As in other years, luminaries are available as a way to honor those who have died from cancer or support someone currently battling the disease.
Saturday’s drive-thru parade will also feature a “memory garden” of photos to honor those who have fought or are currently battling cancer.
