Estherville, IA (KICD)– More changes will be coming to the layout of mental health providers in Northwest Iowa come next year.
Emmet County Supervisor Tim Schumacher tells KICD News this change comes after other recent moves left his county as an island so to speak.
With the circumstances as they are, Emmet County has decided to and has also been given the initial approval to join the Sioux Rivers region which was most recently joined by Dickinson and O’Brien Counties.
From here a resolution is being presented to all of the current counties in the Sioux Rivers region asking to let Emmet County join and if that all passes, the move will be made official beginning July 1st of next year.
