Los Angeles, CA (KICD) – A former KICD radio announcer recently won an Emmy Award this week for “Outstanding Narration in a TV Series.”

Many of you may remember the voice of Jon Armond – he worked for Spencer Radio Group from 1996 to 2005 – he’s now living in Los Angeles working as a full-time Voice Actor. He received the Emmy for his work with the NFL’s “One Jets Drive” TV show on CBS.

Armond tells KICD News he’s had the privilege of using his voice in many capacities:

Armond said he has nothing but fond memories during his time working in radio in northwest Iowa:

Jon Armond has voiced over 450 national TV commercials and can be heard voicing the new “Built America” series seen on the History Channel.
