Akron, IA (KICD) — Three people are injured in a head on collision.
The Plymouth County Sheriffs Office says the accident happened Thursday morning, on Highway 3 near Akron. 19-year old Amy Lubeck of Cherokee was driving west when her vehicle crossed the center line and striking an eastbound vehicle driven by 33-year old Jill Nielsen of Elk Point, South Dakota.
Lubeck was airlifted to Mercy Medical Center in Sioux City, while Neilsen and her 1-year old daughter received minor injuries and were taken by ambulance to Sioux City Hospital.
