Hull Man Dies in Friday Industrial Incident

Hull, IA (KICD)– A Sioux County man has died from injuries sustained in a Friday morning industrial accident.

Emergency crews were called to Livestock Equipment and Manufacturing west of Hull around 10:15 where 69-year-old Harvard Punt was found to have climbed onto a flatbed pickup to secure some cattle gates when the gates fell trapping him underneath.

The Sheriff’s Office was assisted on scene by the Sioux Center Police Department, Hull Fire Department and Sioux County Medical Examiner.
