Jackson, MN (KICD)– A Southwest Minnesota restaurant is being considered a total loss after a fire broke out over the weekend.
Fire crews were called to the Jackson Burger King around 10:30 Friday night for what Fire Chief Dave Bond says was a kitchen fire.
Chief Bond says the restaurant had already closed for the night when the fire started.
Firefighters were on scene until early Saturday morning. The cause of the fire remains unknown at this time and is under investigation by the State Fire Marshall’s Office.
