Spirit Lake, IA (KICD) — Test Iowa sites continue to pop-up and close around the state, but one local clinic may be staying put for while.

Lakes Regional Healthcare CEO Jason Harrington tells KICD News the Governor has agreed to keep the Dickinson County site open through next spring – if necessary.

Harrington says four of his nurses operate the remote testing facility, but if daily testing falls testing might just move to the hospital.

Harrington says at this time the state is providing adequate funds to cover the extra expenses and the Test Iowa site is not costing Lakes Regional Health care money to operate.
