Spencer, IA (KICD) — Another family is going to receive the gift of a Shayla Bee donation.

This month, the Shayla Bee Board voted to make a donation to their 86th family, the Nick Heiderscheidt & Becca Phillips family in Algona for their 3-year old son Nixon. Nixon has pulmonary artery & heart problems, and has been in Iowa City for some time recovering from surgery and will be returning home Friday (tomorrow).

The Shayla Bee riders will depart 5:13 Lounge in Spencer at 5:45-pm Thursday July 17, traveling to their home in Algona, arriving approximately 6:45PM. Everyone is welcome to join them on Shayla Bee Family donations.
