Spencer, IA (KICD) — Firefighters from three Northwest Iowa communities worked through the night to put out a fire that caused severe damage to a Spencer business.
The Spencer, Everly and Fostoria Fire Departments were called to Spencer Livestock Sales shortly after two o’clock this morning where they found flames on the south side of the building.
The State Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating. We are told the Sale Barn portion of the building is a total loss with the attached Livestock Barn sustaining undisclosed damage as a result of that fire.
