Storm Lake Fight Arrests

Storm Lake, IA (KICD) — The Storm Lake Police Department was dispatched to 22 South Windsor Circle in reference to a fight in progress.

Upon arrival of Officers they observed two adult males allegedly engaged in a fight. Police then attempted ot intervene in the fight however the men continued to fight and then turned and began to fight with officers.

Police took the men to the ground where they were subdued after a brief struggle.

Police identified the men as 20-year-old Leeson John and 18-year-old Perten John.

After an investigation police charged Leeson John with interference with Official Acts Causing Injury, Public Intox 2nd Offense and disorderly conduct. He was booked into the Buena Vista County Jail on a $1,000 bond.

Perten John was charged with interference with Official Acts, Public Intox and Disorderly Conduct. He was booked into the County jail on a $300 bond.

A Storm Lake Police Officer sustained minor injuries in the fight but did not need medical attention.
