Storm Lake Student Sexually Assaulted

Storm Lake, IA (KICD) — A Storm Lake student is arrested after a sexual assault of another student.

Storm Lake Police took the report of a sexual assault at the Storm Lake High School Thursday afternoon. Upon investigation, it was determined 18-year old Jose Nunez Vera of Storm Lake had sexually assaulted a female student in a vehicle, in the high school’s west main parking lot.

Nunez Vera was arrested Friday morning on charges of Sexual Abuse 3rd Degree, a class C felony. He was booked into jail on a $10,000 bond.
