Palo Alto County, IA (KICD)– Two people were arrested after Palo Alto County authorities received a call of suspicious activity near Emmetsburg on Thursday evening.

The Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office says deputies responded to the 4400 mile of Burns Road south of Emmetsburg just before 8:30 p.m. when a search warrant was executed in the area of the report.

Following a search, 33-year-old Kenneth Manz of Sioux Falls was taken into custody for possession of a controlled substance-marijuana, possession of a controlled substance- methamphetamine and possession of burglar tools.

Deputies also arrested 36-year-old Aaron Manz of Emmetsburg for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Both men were booked into the Palo Alto County Jail.
