Tiger Girl Swimmers Place 3rd at Gary Winkler Invitational


Fort Dodge, Ia (KICD) – The Spencer Girls Swim team competed at the Gary Winkler Invitational in Fort Dodge.

Top three finishers for the Tigers were the 200 yard Medley Relay team of Emily Quanbeck, Ella Kasperbauer, Lily Gross, and Brooklyn Ferguson placed 2nd with a time of 1:58.26.

Brooklyn Ferguson placed 1st in the 50 yard freestyle with a time of 25.25.

Quanbeck, Emma Storms, Gross, and Ferguson teamed up for the 200 yard freestyle relay where they placed 2nd with a time of 1:45.19.

Emily Quanbeck would finish 3rd in the 100 yard Backstroke with a time of 1:05.45.

Lily Gross placed 2nd in the Girls 100 yard Breaststroke with a time of 1:09.07.

Ferguson, Kasperbauer, Storms, and Quanbeck would team up for the 400 yard Freestyle Relay where they finished 2nd with a time of 4:02.15.

Sioux City Metro would win with 501 points, the Tigers would finish 3rd out of the 5 teams with 400 points.
