Clean-up efforts are well underway in Aurelia which was hit by an EF-1 tornado that National Weather Service crews believe packed sustained winds of up to 105 mph.

Police Chief Brian Flikade tells KICD News there has been a huge outpouring of support to help get Aurelia cleaned up which he and the rest of the community are beyond thankful for.

Clean-up is still expected to take a few days and volunteers are asked to check-in at Aurelia City Hall so officials can keep track of hours spent on the process.
