Ashton, IA (KICD) — Three individuals were transported to the hospital in Sibley following a two vehicle collision near Ashton about 1 o’clock Saturday afternoon.
The Osceola County Sheriff’s Department says 65 year old Barbara Dunaway of Overland Park, Kansas was Westbound on County Road A-34 and failed to stop at the intersection, where 41 year old Allison Behrendsen of Schleswig was Northbound on County Road L-40. Both drivers and a passenger in the Dunaway vehicle were taken by ambulance to the Osceola Regional Health Center.
Dunaway was cited for failure to obey a stop sign. The Ashton Fire Department assisted at the scene.
