Wisconsin Man Arrested On Drug Charges

Storm Lake, IA (KICD) — A Plover, Wisconsin man was arrested in connection to drug charges on Saturday.

The Storm Lake Police Department says at around 1:20 P.M. police were dispatched to the Kings Pointe Resort located at 1520 East Lakeshore Drive in reference to a reported odor of marijuana. Upon arrival police were directed to a guest room where the odor was allegedly detected. Police made contact with the occupant identified as 28-year-old Matthew Allen. Police conducted an investigation and allege that Allen was in possession of a quantity of marijuana in his guest room.

Police seized the drug and arrested Allen charging him with possession of a controlled substance – marijuana. Allen was booked into the Buena Vista County Jail on a $1,000 bond.
