$10 Radon Test Kits Now Available in Dickinson County

Spirit Lake, Iowa — January is Radon Action Month, and this silent health hazard is the second leading cause of lung cancer in the US. The only way to ensure safety is to test your home, and Dickinson County Zone and Environmental Health office has test kits for just $10.

Officials recommend starting the test on a Thursday and mailing it on a Monday for the most accurate results. Kits are available now at the Dickinson County Courthouse, Spirit Lake.
