All-State Music Festival Selects Choir and Orchestra Students

Spencer, Ia (Northwestiowanow.com) — Students for the 2025 All-State Music Festival in Ames were selected Saturday.

From Spencer: Robbie Gerlock, Levi Lane, Ava Michaels, and Eva Simpson were selected for the All-State Choir and Mikalah Prickett made it for a second time.

For All-State Orchestra from Spencer: Flutist Emily Pan was selected; and Oboist Maggie Moser and Clarinetist Annabelle Thompson, both made it for the 3rd time.

And for All-State Band: Kinley Hansen was selected for Contra alto Clarinet, and Jivahny Lovan made it for the 2nd year on clarinet.

Eva Hoggard from the Okoboji High School was selected for the All-State Chorus.

And from Spirit Lake: Paxten Janssen, Josephine Kapinga, and Bridget Tritle were selected for chorus.

Students will rehearse for three days in November with the concert November 22nd at Hilton Coliseum. Tickets will go on sale Tuesday.
