Hartley, Ia (Northwest Iowa Now) – The 2026 War Eagle Track and Field Championships were ran in Hartley Monday.

MMCRU’s Brayden Dunn took 1st in the Boys Discuss throw with a mark of 154’6”.

The Sibley-Ocheyedan Boys 800m Sprint Medley Relay team of Heilman, Marco, Byers, and Marco took 1st with a time o f1:37.05.

In the Girls 4x800m Relay, Childs, Heitritter, Ochoa, and Marco combined to give the Generals a first place time of 11:01.58.

The Sibley-Ocheyedan Boys team of Vos, Kleinwolterink, Kreykes, and Byers also won the 4x800m Relay with at time of 9:00.53.

For the Girls 1600m Distance Medley Relay, Sibley-Ocheyedan’s team of Sayler, Marco, Pohlen, and Childs won with a time of 4:46.8.

Luke Heilman of Sibley-Ocheyedan won the Boys 110m Hurdles with a time of 14.54 seconds.

The Girls 400m Hurdles was won by Sibley-Ocheyedan’s Hailey Gacke with a time of 1:10.5.

Tate Marco made it a Generals’ sweep in the Boys 400m Hurdles with a time of 54.98.

In the Girls 1500m Run, Aleah Marco of Sibley-Ocheyedan won with a time of 5:24.35.

The Sibley-Ocheyedan Boys 4x400m Relay team capped off the day with a team of Kreykes, Vos, Marco, and Byers winning with a time of 3:28.49.
