Spencer, Iowa (NorthwestIowaNow.com) — LifeServe Blood Center is issuing a critical appeal to residents in Spencer and across Northwest Iowa as the regional blood supply has dropped to dangerously low levels.

For your donation through September 3rd, you can receive double points for LifeServe’s online store, and by donating before September 6th, you will be automatically entered to win a “Ultimate Tailgating Package” valued at over $600.

Locally, residents of Clay County have a special opportunity to donate at the Clay County Fair on September 10th. The LifeServe blood bus will be located in the North Parking Lot by the Events Center.

LifeServe Blood Center provides blood products to 175 hospitals in Iowa, South Dakota, Nebraska, and Illinois, ensuring patients in communities like Spencer have a stable supply for serious situations, including major accidents and trauma.
