Ruthven, IA — A Des Moines man wanted on multiple Polk County warrants was arrested Sunday afternoon in Ruthven.
Deputies with the Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office took 45-year-old Rian Edward Risinger of Des Moines into custody without incident shortly after 3:15 p.m. in the 1600 block of Bruce Street.
Court records show Risinger was wanted in Polk County on allegations of first-degree burglary, assault by a person subject to a protective order, domestic abuse assault, operating a vehicle without the owner’s consent, false imprisonment, and contempt for violating a no-contact or protective order.
Risinger was transported to the Palo Alto County Jail, where he is being held pending extradition to Polk County.
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office assisted with the arrest.
