Spencer, Ia (Northwest Iowa Now) – The Spencer Volleyball team hosted Spirit Lake Tuesday night in the Fieldhouse with an opportunity to lock up the 2nd spot in the Lakes Conference race.

Spirit Lake is now 12-12 on the year and 1-1 in the Lakes Conference. They prepare for their final two games of the regular season, which will be against Lakes Conference opponents Estherville Lincoln Central and Storm Lake in that order on October 9th and 14th.

Spencer Falls to 12-18 on the year, and 2-2 in the Lakes Conference, where they have at least locked up a 3rd place finish. Coming up on Thursday for Spencer is a triangular hosted by Newell-Fonda which Bishop Garrigan of Algona will also attend.
