Dominant Wins for Okoboji Boys and Sibley-Ocheyedan Girls at HMS Hawk Relays

Hartley, Ia (Northwest Iowa Now) – The HMS Hawk Relays were run Friday in Hartley.

In the Boys Shot Put, Gage Greenfield of Sibley-Ocheyedan won with a throw of 49’2”.

For the Boys High Jump, Sibley-Ocheyedan’s Eric Kleinwolterink took 1st with a height of 5’10”.

Danica Derner of Okoboji was the winner in the Girls Discuss with a toss of 97’4”.

Sibley-Ocheyedan’s team of Childs, Marco, Sayler, and Gacker won the Girls 800m Sprint Medley Relay with a time of 1:59.85.

In the Boys 800m Sprint Medley Relay, Okoboji took 1st with a time of 1:40.56.

For the Girls 3000m Run, Gracie Odens took 1st with a time of 12:47.72.

Sam Low of Okoboji won the Boys 3200m Run with a time of 10:56.29.

Sibley-Ocheyedan’s team of Childs, Heitritter, Ochoa, and Marco won with a time of 10:32.42.

In the Boys 4x800m Relay, Okoboji’s team of Nitchals, Evenson, Boone, and Fear won with a time of 9:09.68.

For the Girls 4x100m Shuttle Hurdle Relay, Sibley-Ocheyedan’s team of Sayler, Marco, Pohlen, and Gacke won with a time of 1:15.33.

Sibley-Ocheyedan’s team of Sayler, Marco, Childs, and Pohlen won the Girls 1600m Distance Medley Relay with a time of 4:47.75.

Stahly, Clark, Evenson, and Gravert ran a time of 4:03.68 in the Boys 1600m Distance Medley Relay for Okoboji.

In the Girls 400m Dash, Keely Ebel of Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn won with a time of 1:05.26.

For the Boys 400m Dash, Sibley-Ocheyedan’s Eric Kleinwolterink took 1st with a time of 55.35.

Boynton, Otto, Overmire, and Mutombo combined for a time of 1:59.27 for Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn in the Girls 4x200m Relay, taking 1st.

Okoboji’s 4x200m Relay team of Wolf, Robinson, Riley, and Clark took 1st with a time of 1:36.55.

In the Girls 100m Hurdles, Lily Newton of Okoboji won with a time of 17.81.

For the Boys 110m Hurdles, Jake Pausley of Okoboji won with a time of 16.02.

Tyson Fear of Okoboji won the Boys 800m Run with a time of 2:07.97.

St. Mary’s of Storm Lake’s Nicolas Calvo took 1st in the Boys 200m Dash with a time of 24.26 seconds.

In the Girls 400m Hurdles, Hailey Gacke of Sibley-Ocheyedan won with a time of 1:10.5.

For the Boys 400m Hurdles, Okoboji’s Jake Pausley ran a 1st place time of 1:01.35.

Aleah Marco of Sibley-Ocheyedan won the Girls 1500m Run with a time of 5:23.14.

Sibley-Ocheyedan’s Eric Kleinwolterink took 1st in the 1600m Run with a time of 5:07.

In the Girls 4x100m Relay, St. Mary’s of Storm Lake’s team of Bunkers, Harpenau, Garvin, and Tentinger won with a time of 54.05.

For the Girls 4x400m Relay, Sibley-Ocheyedan’s team of Childs, Gacke, Pohlen, and Marco won with a time of 4:23.88.

Fear, Nitchals, Clark, and Wolf of Okoboji won the Boys 4x400m Relay with a time of 3:41.86.
