Cherokee, IA (Northwest Iowa Now) — In Cherokee County – there were only two contested races on the Republican ballot.

In the race for County Treasurer Rob Byers won the majority vote of 896 over Debie Ann Stevenson’s 781 votes.

And incumbant District 4 Supervisor Cheryl Ellis defeated her challenger Charles Stubbe . Ellis had 901 votes; Stubbe had 840.
