ESTHERVILLE, IA (Northwestiowanow) – Gubernatorial Republican candidate Randy Feenstra made a stop in Estherville on Monday, January 19th, hosting a meet-and-greet with residents at the Central Perk Coffee House.

Feenstra says his visit was focused on outlining his vision for strengthening Iowa’s future.

He added that small communities like Estherville represent the backbone of the state and said he wants to ensure young Iowans can stay local.

Feenstra also highlighted agriculture as one of his top priorities, saying Iowa’s economy depends on expanding global markets, holding China accountable for commodity purchases, and passing the year-round sale of E15 fuel.

Later, attendees asked Feenstra about his political alignment with President Donald Trump. Feenstra said he has not officially received an endorsement but emphasized that he has worked closely with Trump in the past and remains focused on creating solutions for Iowa.
