Storm Lake, Ia (Northwest Iowa Now) – Storm Lake welcomed teams to town for their Cross Country Meet on Tuesday.
In the Girls Race, MOC-Floyd Valley’s Natalie Anderson won with a time of 17:33.44. Spencer’s Laynee Healey was 6th at 19:50.42.
For the Girls Team Standings, MOC-Floyd Valley won with 76 points, Sioux Center was 2nd with 81, and Spencer took 3rd with 88. Spirit Lake finished 9th, Cherokee 11th, and Storm Lake 13th.
Western Christian of Hull’s Ian Ten Napel won the Boys Race at 16:22.46. Cherokee had a top 10 finisher with Danny Leyva-Cedeno running 17:18.84 to take 7th.
In the Boys Team Standings, Sioux Center won with 46 points, well-ahead of MOC-Floyd Valley in 2nd with 93. Western Christian of Hull took 3rd with 143. Storm Lake finished 7th, Spirit Lake 8th, Cherokee 10th, Spencer 12th, and Newell-Fonda was 13th.
