A funeral service for James “Jim” DeBoom, age 86 of Milford, IA, formerly of Sutherland will be held on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. at the United Methodist Church in Sutherland. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 20th at the Hartley Funeral Home in Hartley, IA from 2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.; family will be present from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Burial will take place at Waterman Township Cemetery near Sutherland. The Hartley Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
