Spencer, IA — The Spencer Kiwanis Daybreakers are hosting their annual Touch A Truck event this weekend.
The event will be held Saturday at the Clay County Regional Events Center parking lot from 10 a.m. to noon.
Megan Jones with the Kiwanis Daybreakers says the event gives residents a chance to see equipment and vehicles that help keep the community running.
The event typically sees around 50 vehicles, but Jones says keeping the vehicles on display can be a challenge.
Jones added the event is designed not just for children, but for adults as well.
While admission is free, attendees who wish to support the Spencer Kiwanis Daybreakers Foundation scholarship program can make a voluntary donation.
Jones says the organization continues to host Touch A Truck as a way to give back to the community.
