If you’re heading to the Clay County Fair in Spencer, you can add “lifesaving hero” to your to-do list! LifeServe Blood Center is teaming up with the fair to host a blood drive on Wednesday, September 10th, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

The drive will be located at the fairgrounds in the north parking lot by the Events Center.

With summer often seeing an increase in accidents and emergencies, local blood supplies are facing critical shortages. This blood drive is a chance to make a big impact right here in your own community, with all donations directly supporting local hospitals.

To thank you for your generosity, every donor will receive a special gift—a reusable metal straw—and some official LifeServe merchandise.

Donation appointments can be made by calling 800-287-4903 or by going online to lifeserve.info/clayfair
