Iowa (NorthwestIowaNow.com) – Homeowners in Clay County or anywhere across Northwest Iowa still feeling the impact of the June 2024 floods, significant financial help is now available.

USDA Rural Development has released home repair grants of up to 44-thousand dollars. This funding is unique because it can reimburse you for repairs you have already finished, or help fund projects you still need to start.

Eligibility is based on household income. For a family of up to four people right here in Clay County, the limit is 78-thousand-250 dollars.

Similar assistance is available for our neighbors in Palo Alto, Dickinson, O’Brien, and Buena Vista counties.
To apply, call 515-284-4444 or email iowahomeloans@usda.gov
