Newell-Fonda Hosts Co-Ed

Newell, Ia (Northwest Iowa Now) – Newell-Fonda hosted their Co-Ed Track and Field Meet Friday.

Macy Walters of Emmetsburg took 1st in the Girls High Jump at 5’00”.

Newell-Fonda’s Ellie Sievers took 1st in the Girls Long Jump with a mark of 15’6”.

In the Girls 400m Hurdles, Allison Fehr of West Bend-Mallard took 1st with a time of 1:10.78.

For the Girls 800m Run, Macy Droegmiller of Alta/Aurelia won with a time of 2:31.44.

Alta/Aurelia’s Jacob Launderville took 1st in the Boys 800m Run with a time of 2:10.76.

Mareni Brabec of Newell-Fonda won the Girls 1500m Run with a time of 5:11.99.

In the Girls 800m Sprint Medley Relay, West Bend-Mallard’s team of Fehr, Lowe, Akridge, and Fehr won with a time of 1:59.46.

For the Girls 3000m Run, Danika Meyer of Newell-Fonda won with a time of 11:48.67.

In the Boys 4x200m Relay, Newell-Fonda’s team of Tauber, Harrer, Baron, and Hogrefe took 1st with a time of 1:39.08.

For the Girls 4x400m Relay, Sievers, Sievers, Hamilton, and Hogrefe took 1st for Newell-Fonda with a time of 4:21.31.

Newell-Fonda’s team of Brabec, Hogrefe, Hamilton, and Sievers combined for a time of 10:07.98 to win the Girls 4x800m Relay.

For the Boys 4x800m Relay, Wolf, White, Olsen, and Lockrem of Newell-Fonda won with a time of 9:05.62.

The Girls Distance Medley Relay team of Sievers, Hamilton, Hogrefe, and Brabec combined for a time of 4:37.67 to take 1st.
