Storm Lake, IA (Northwestiowanow.com) — The Iowa Lottery has confirmed the winner of a $150,000 prize. We had known earlier that there was a Powerball winner who purchased the ticket at Carstensen’s Meat and Grocery in downtown Lake Park.

Last Wednesday Christopher Sik of Ocheydan showed up at the regional lottery headquarters in Storm Lake with his ticket that matched four of the five white balls, and the Powerball in the March 9th drawing.

Lottery officials say the 50 thousand dollar prize was tripled because Sik had also purchased the Power Play option.
