Primghar, Iowa (NorthwestIowaNow.com) —  Local theater is back in O’Brien County as the Primghar Community Playhouse prepares for the fast-paced comedy Moon Over Buffalo. The Primghar Community Building will transform into a scene of 1950s theatrical chaos starting this Friday.

Written by Ken Ludwig, Moon Over Buffalo follows two fading stars of the stage as they navigate a hilarious comedy of errors, all while hoping for one last shot at Hollywood stardom.

Performance dates are set for this Friday and Saturday night, April 10th and 11th, with showtimes at 7:30. A Sunday matinee is also scheduled for April 12th at 2:00 PM.

For those looking for a full night out, Friday and Saturday’s performances feature a dinner catered by JW’S Bar and Grill of Paullina. The menu includes cranberry glazed chicken and garlic parmesan red potatoes.

Tickets for the dinner and show are $35, while “show only” tickets are available for $15.

While the deadline for meal reservations has passed, community members can still check for remaining show-only tickets by visiting PrimgharPlayhouse.com or by calling Liz at (847) 875-8704.
