Storm Lake, IA (northwestiowanow.com) — The City of Storm Lake will begin accepting nominations on Monday the 25th, for the upcoming city election set for this fall.

Residents interested in running for office must reside within the city limits of Storm Lake. And candidates must collect 50 signatures on the nomination petition forms.

Nomination papers can be picked up at Storm Lake City Hall, Buena Vista County Auditor’s Office, and or the Iowa Secretary of State’s Website sos.iowa.gov/city-elections

Completed nomination papers must be filed at City Hall no later than 5pm on Thursday, September 18th.
