Terril, IA (Northwestiowanow.com) — The Mayor of Terril has resigned. Julie Thiesen was re-elected one year ago without opposition.

Prior to serving as Mayor Thiesen served multiple terms on the city council. She says Pro Cooperative Elevator recently had a major expansion. and the city government has made many improvements to the community as well.

Councilwoman Jeri Nissen is Terril’s Mayor Pro Tem and will handle official duties until a new Mayor is either appointed or elected.
