Spencer, Ia (Northwest Iowa Now) – The Spencer Boys Soccer team kicked off the 2026 season at home against NWISL foes MOC-Floyd Valley Tuesday at the Northwest Iowa Soccer Field in Spencer.

The Tigers got off to a fast start, with both Cayden Brewer and Keegan Musser finding goals in the first 10 minutes of action.

Camden Mosher led Spencer in Goals scored last season with 18.  The Senior started off a big night by extending the Tiger lead to 3 in the 13th minute.

Brewer scored his second goal of the match in the 36th minute to give Spencer a 4-0 lead.

The Tigers piled it on in the last 10 minutes of the first half.  Mosher, Musser, and Brewer were all able to find the back of the net.

Spencer took that 7-0 lead into the locker room.  MOC-Floyd Valley came out nicely in the second half.  Carlos Martin-Chavez put a jolt in to the Dutchmen with a run out behind the Spencer Midfielders, scoring MOC-Floyd Valley’s first goal of the year.

The Tigers responded with a pair of goals in the 16th and 20th minutes.

McCusker carried the momentum from his first goal of the year with two more to finish off the match in its 37th minute via mercy-rule.

The Senior led offensive attack of Camden Mosher, Nolan McCusker, and Cayden Brewer all finished with hat-tricks on the evening.  Keegan Musser added a pair of goals himself in the 11-1 route of MOC-Floyd Valley.

The Dutchmen are back in action on Thursday, as they try and bounce back at home against Sheldon/Sibley-Ocheyedan in a non-conference matchup.

Spencer has a big road trip on Tuesday when they travel to Hawarden to play the defending Class 1A State Champions West Sioux in NWISL action.

There was one other Northwest Iowa Soccer League matchup going on Tuesday in Non-Conference fashion as Spirit Lake/Park/Okoboji dispatched Sheldon/Sibley-Ocheyedan 5-0.
