Tigers Sweep Team Trophies at Home Co-Ed

Spencer, Ia (Northwest Iowa Now) – Spencer hosted their second Co-Ed Track and Field Meet on Friday at Dale Norton Field.

In the Girls 100m Dash, Mercedes Krieg of Spencer won with a time of 12.78 seconds.

For the Girls 100m Hurdles, Emmetsburg’s Elizabeth Thoren clocked 17.23 seconds to take 1st.

Krieg would also get the win in the 200m Dash with a time of 26.01 for the Tigers.

In the Girls 400m Dash, Rachel Schany of Emmetsburg won with a time of 1:00.33.

For the Girls 400m Hurdles, Spencer’s Lucy Simington took 1st with a time of 1:07.46.

Spencer’s girls 800m Sprint Medley Relay team of Lagunes, Iedema, Robbins, and Reynolds won with a time of 1:53.74.

In the Girls 4x100m Relay, Spencer won with a time of 54.63 seconds, made up of a team of Lagunes, Iedema, Christensen, and Stuckey.

For the Girls 4x200m Relay, Spencer’s team of Stuckey, Stuckey, Iedema, and Christensen won with a time of 1:53.91.

Spencer also was the winner in the Girls 4x100m Shuttle Hurdles Relay with a team of Simington, Mehan, Kunath, and Stuckey combining for a time of 1:11.97.

In the Girls 4x400m Relay, Spencer’s team of Frankenstein, Schmidt, Griffin, and Griffin won with a time of 4:30.89.

For the Girls 4x800m Relay, Frankenstein, Schmidt, Griffin, and Palmer clocked 10:58.93 to give Spencer a 1st Place finish.

Schany picked up Emmetsburg another first-place finish in the Girls High Jump with a height of 5’4”.

In the Girls Long Jump, Jolie Robbins of Spencer won with a mark of 15’6”.

For the Boys 100m Dash, Spencer’s Dylan Timmer won with a time of 11.28 seconds.

Jivahny Lovan of Spencer won the Boys 110m Hurdles with a time of 15.24 seconds.

In the Boys 200m Dash, Estherville Lincoln Central’s Garrett Smith took 1st with a time of 22.9 seconds.

For the Boys 400m Dash, Emmerson Christensen of Spencer won with a time of 1:03.58.

Estherville Lincoln Central’s Boys 800m Sprint Medley Relay team of Richard, Ponce-Diaz, DeWitt, and Smith won with a time of 1:36.82.

In the Boys 4x100m Relay, Spencer’s team of Lovan, Buum, Stanzel, and Techen clocked 44.96 to take 1st.

For the Boys 4x200m Relay, Rasmussen, Buum, Timmer, and Stanzel combined to give Spencer a 1st place time of 1:32.17.

Spencer’s team of Lemmon, Cantrall, Lovan, and Christensen took 1st in the 4x110m Shuttle Hurdle Relay with a time of 1:08.95.

In the Boys 4x800m Relay, Spencer put together a group of Anderson, Rodriguez, Koppie and Rustad who took 1st with a time of 8:30.18.

For the Boys Discuss throw, Cristian Mendez-Garcia of Spencer took 1st with a toss of 129’4”.

Tate VonEhwegen of Spencer won the Boys High Jump with a height of 6’00”.

In the Boys Shot Put, Blake Hansen of Spencer won with a mark of 43’4”.

For the Ambulatory Boys Shot Put, Spencer’s Javin Smith-Williamson won with a throw of 17′.
