Tornadoes and Rebels Claim Team Titles at PAC Relays

Pocahontas, Ia (Northwest Iowa Now) – Pocahontas Area hosted the Boys PAC Relays on Friday.

In the Class B Discus, Adam Marsh won with 154’8”.

For the Class A Long Jump, Karson Welander of Pocahontas Area won with a mark of 21’5”.

Rylan Richardson of Storm Lake won in the Class A Long Jump with a distance of 20’10”.

In the Class B High Jump, Max Heinen of North Union won with a height of 6’2”.

For the Class A High Jump, Timothy Yanga of Storm Lake was the winner with a leap of 6’2”.

North Union’s team of Whaley, Hoye, Colegrove, and Rezac took 1st in the Class B 800m Sprint Medley Relay with a time of 1:39.21.

In the Class B 3200m Run, Lucos Wernimont of Sioux Central picked up the win with a time of 10:19.21.

For the Class A 3200m Run, it was Joel Ramirez-Parra taking 1st at 9:59.99.

Sioux Central’s team of Garcia, Waldstein, Driver, and Christians were the Class B 4x800m Relay winners at 9:21.92.

In the Class B 100m Dash, Tyce Jenness of Emmetsburg won with a time of 11.46 seconds.

For the Class A 100m Dash, Garbieno Weno was the champ at 11.06 seconds.

North Union’s 1600m Distance Medley Relay team of Whaley, Colegrove, Hoye, and Kruse were the Class B winners with a time of 3:58.25.

In the Class B 400m Dash, Collin Dreith of Pocahontas Area won with a time of 53.29 seconds.

For the Class A 400m Dash, Storm Lake took the top two spots with Garbieno Weno winning at 51.03 seconds and David William clocking 53.06 seconds.

Sioux Central’s Owen Mills ticked 15.08 in the Class B 110m Hurdles to take 1st.

In the Class B 800m Run, Jack Christian of Sioux Central ran a 2:01.25 to finish 1st.

For the Class A 800m Run, Heath Kampbell of Storm Lake won with a time of 2:12.77.

Bradyen Yates of Emmetsburg was the winner in the Class B 200m Dash with a time of 23.83 seconds.

In the Class A 200m Dash, Storm Lake’s Garbieno Weno picked up another win with a time of 22.42 seconds.

For the Class B 400m Hurdles, Owen Mills of Sioux Central clocked 57.9 seconds to take 1st.

Nicolas Sanchez of Storm Lake ran 1:01.92 in the Class A 400m Hurdles to finish 1st.

In the Class B 1600m Run, Lucos Wernimont of Sioux Central won with a time of 4:54.55.

For the Class A 1600m Run, Storm Lake’s Joel Ramirez-Parra won with a time of 4:47.77.

North Union’s team of Crouch, Colegrove, Whaley, and Hoye combined for a time of 45.53 to win the Class B 4x100m Relay.
