Arnolds Park, IA (Northwestiowanow.com) — The Spencer Media Group is helping the Dickinson County Farm Bureau and Iowa Great Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce find the best burger around. The 2026 Boji Burger Battle began February 1st with one winner to be selected at the end of the month.
You can help by sampling the entries at all six participating restaurants and then voting for your favorite at the chamber website by midnight February 28th.

The unique creations this year are:

The Sweet Heat Pretzel Stack at Boss’s Pizzeria and Sports Bar, which includes jalapeno jelly and orange marmalade

Dudley’s Meltdown is served in a cast-iron skillet of molten cheese sauce.

The Triple J Burger at McKeen’s stands for Jerk seasoning, Jalapenos, and pepper jack.

Also vying for the title this year are the Chief Beef at Nautrical Bar and Grill which includes smoked beef chuck and mashed potatoes; the Deluxe Dunker at The Hutt with cream Mac and Cheese;

and the Bourbon Street Burger at the Peacock Lounge and Grille with its flavors form Mardi Gras.

The regular Lue burger at the Ritz is being amped up with brie, raspberry jam, and japapeno raspberry cheese curds;

and the chef at the Waterfront Grille has created Smash Burger Tacos.

The defending champ is The Ritz. They won the 2025 Boji Burger Battle with a French Onion Burger.
