Accidental Shooting in Rock Valley

Rock Valley, IA (KICD) — A Rock Valley man was injured in an accidental shooting.

On Friday afternoon, 33-yr.-old Jason Plueger was shooting a pistol at a metal target on the gun range when a bullet ricocheted from the target and struck his right arm.

The Sioux County Sheriff’s Department determined the shooting at the Rock Valley Gun Club was accidental.

Plueger reported minor injuries and sought medical attention on his own.
