Palo Alto County, IA (KICD)– A West Bend man was taken to the hospital after suffering a medical condition and being involved in a single vehicle crash on Thursday morning.

The Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office says they were to the 4600 mile of 525th Avenue just after 10 a.m. and upon arrival determined a pickup driven by 69-year-old Larry Lauck had been eastbound on 475th Street when the unspecified medial issue caused him to lose control and enter the ditch.

The truck then entered a corn field and continued until reaching 525th Avenue which it then crossed traveling into three other fields before eventually coming to a stop.

Lauck was taken to Palo Alto County Hospital for further evaluation but was determined to be uninjured in the crash.
