Fire Chief Dick Beaver says crews were called to the blaze on Park Road shortly before five o’clock Tuesday afternoon where they found a 1980 Corvette fully engulfed in flames.

Firefighters spent just under a half hour putting out the fire that left the car with “extensive damage” to the front end.
